I think it is expensive at 45 and at a P/E of about 9. Hopefully will come down after a few months of trading.

Right. But I don't understand no interest is seen in REWM, much better option than others.

All IPO in recent years have ended in huge loss. Alshaheer and Roshan Packages are the examples.

My two cents about the IPO is as follow:
Please note that this my understanding of the IPO, so please do your due diligence before making a call

Reason for IPO:
Interloop wants to setup their denim plant, in competition to Nishat which is already leading this forte. Nishat is already supplying jeans to Levis, Wrangler Jeans, and a few other brands and is quite known for it. The denim category in textile is quite competitive with countries like China, Mexico, India, Bangladesh, Turkey, Vietnam, Sri-Lanka already producing high quantity and quality. So penetrating this category will be a tall task, keeping in mind Interloop has already purchased the land for the plant to produce denim this round of funding is going to help them promote and produce mainly. The plant will go live in the last quarter of 2019.

Positive Attributes/levers:
Interloop holds a steady market share of its hosiery product in the European belt, with its partnership with Eurosox Plus, a Netherlands-based firm that provides marketing intelligence, design, sales and distribution services to clients in Europe.  With the help of EuroSox Interloop was successful in Banking big contracts with companies like Nike, Addidas, Puma as well as other major clothing brands like H&M, Uniqlo, Target, and Levi’s. They own their own power plant so hopefully electricity will not be impacted by the utility issues that most industry faces.

The numbers:
•   Current: 31.1Bil Revenue 2018 (17% growth vs last year and maintaining average 8% growth YoY)
•   Expected: 51.11 Bil Revenue by 2023 (77% increase in revenue in 5 years) average 13% growth YoY with the help of IPO
•   IPO for 12.5% of the business, Expectation to raise 4.9Billion @45rs per share = 109 million shares
•   PreBid Rate for 45 rs/share with max increase of 40% so the pre bid range for share is [45Rs -  63Rs]
•   Eps of 2018 = 5.10 @ 8.8x = 45Rs. Nishat Mill which is the category leader has an eps of 11.65 and is trading at 140 making it 12x approximately. In case of high pre-launch bid @63Rs the multiplier will increase to 12.3x which is at par with the category leader.

Conclusion
With an excellent clean history of the company it looks a very promising share for long term hold, based on the existing trend if the company manages to increase their earnings(eps) by 1-2 PKR/ year we are looking at 8-12 Rs jump in share yearly. But that would start reflecting by mid-2020. In short term if the IPO pre-bid closes on a high (which is a high expectation) there will be less movement in the share as the potential price of this script at current level is not more than 60-65PKR.

Question am I going to go for it:
I don’t know: D :D may be keep it in for my long term portfolio. But there is a high chance we can get the same share cheaper in the open market within this year. :[ :fingerscrossed1: :thanks:
