Dear all,
AGTL's ordinary shares have a paid up value of 5 rupees not 10 rupees. Please keep in mind while calculating dividend yields. For instance, the dividend announced for 1st half 2012 as 150% is 7.5 rupees NOT 15 rupees.
I hate waking up.

short term sell target 243-245

medium to long term sell target 250-260

though this is a fairly safe share for the longer term, also it should see some action close to its X-date (15march2010)  :fingerscrossed1:

a lot of people say that but i dont understand how that makes a difference, if this were a Rs10 share then its earnings would be double because their paid up cap would be divided by 10 rather then 5....

besides they still earned a lot of money in terms of sales and on the basis of PE/PBV its cheap, and their yoy growth is through the roof

i dont get it

im holding 60% of my shares at 154.4 and the other 40% at 218.16 for an overall average of 179.9, and it goes x.div on monday - what would you do?

BHAI AGTL KA KYA DEHAN HAI......... ::)

Technically:
it is finding some solid support at 210 and looks like it is about to break its short term down trend - i do not see it coming below 200

in the longer term it is still bullish and targeting 280+ by the time their full year result comes out in Dec2010

Fundamentally:
the government is finding it unsustainable to keep subsidies at the levels that existed earlier, so im guessing that the benazir tractor scheme might take a hit meaning that the sales under that scheme which are a significant portion of AGTL sales will take a hit

though even if agtl takes a hit of a reduction of 25-30% in earnings ie from 40 to 30/28 i feel their dividend payout history indicates that they can still maintain their 400% cash payout as long as they maintain earnings above Rs28 which is highly probable
